Carrickfinn Beach is an extensive Blue Flag, sandy beach with sand dunes and is located close to the beautiful Annagry village, which is a Gaeltacht area.
The famous singing groups Clannad, Altan and the singer Enya all come from this area.
Donegal Airport is located here and is popularly known within the county as Carrickfinn Airport.
