The village of Dunfanaghy, overlooking the beautiful shores of Sheephaven Bay on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, is surrounded by Blue Flag beaches, and overlooked by the majestic Derryveagh Mountains of Donegal.
The village overlooks the magnificant Horn Head, and is close to the blue flag Kilahoey beach with its golden sands and crystal clear water.
A short drive from the village is the picturesque harbour at Portnablagh, the blue flag beach at Marble Hill, and Ards Forest Park.
There are plenty of activities in the area, with an 18 hole links golf course, surfing and surf schools, horse-riding, hill walking, and rock climbing.
