Union Hall is a small fishing village in West Cork, situated on the west side of Glandore Harbour.
There are historical remains in the area of 13th-century and 16th-century castles, with Castle Eyre and Raheen Castle both built by the O’Donovan clan.
Meanwhile, a Holy Well dedicated to St. Brigid is still a yearly pilgrimage made by devotees on the first day of February.
Angling and deep-sea fishing are popular activities, while boat trips to view whales, dolphins, and seals are also popular.
Kayaking, sailing, and diving are other water-based activities in Union Hall.
The annual Union Hall Festival is held in June each year.
