Ballyliffin is a small village located at the north-western tip of the Inishowen Peninsula, County Donegal.
The surrounding landscape includes Pollan Strand, Binion Hill and Crockaughrim hill.
A promontory fort at Dunargus and can be seen towering above Five Fingers Strand opposite Carrickabraghey Castle.
The district has an outstanding collection of rock art, which dates from the Bronze Age, with one of the principal sites is at Magheranaul in the Isle of Doagh and on Crockaughrim hill.
