Barrow Harbour is an inlet off Tralee Bay in County Kerry.
Historically, it was a major port for the region, servicing the monastic settlement of Ardfert and the town of Tralee.
Barrow is overlooked by Tralee Golf Club, from which there are spectacular views of Tralee Bay and Banna Strand.
The narrow entrance to the harbour was protected by Fenit Castle, the ruins of which still remain.
In the past, a chain was connected across the entrance to the harbour, which could be raised to prevent the incursion of pirates and enemies.
Barrow House is located at the old quayside.
