Kilcrohane is the last village on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula in West Cork, overlooking Dunmanus Bay.
Kilcrohane is a good base for many of the beautiful loop walks and trails, which give picture postcard views over Dunmanus Bay and Bantry Bay.
The popular Sheep’s Head Cycle Route also passes through Kilcrohane as it travels around the coastline of the peninsula.
Kilcrohane pier also provides visitors the chance of a swim in the bay, while there are a number of fishing spots along the shore, where pollock and mackerel are to be found.
