Lauragh, part of Tousist parish on the Beara Peninsula, is one of the last villages in Kerry before entering County Cork.
Situated between the Caha Mountains and Kenmare Bay, the region has some wonderful valleys and glens to be explored.
Nearby is the beautiful Gleninchaquin waterfall, on the picturesque Beara Way Walking Route.
Also located in the area is a cave containing ancient writing, which may predate ogham script.
